Brian launched his career in 2003, where he spent 8 years with C.H. Robinson Worldwide in Iowa City. Brian was a member of the C.H. Robinson Leadership Team and created the Iowa City Flatbed Division. Following C.H. Robinson, he conducted business development for Alliance Shippers in Orland Park, Illinois and Express Logistics in Waukee, Iowa. 

In 2017 he became Vice President of CJM Financial Inc, a customizable finance solutions company headquartered in Ankeny, Iowa. He was responsible for all aspects of sales, operations, and marketing functions, including adding key accounts, and developing and managing sales, and solidifying strategic business partnerships. In 2019 he started DSM Advantage, a small third-party logistics company and Shamrock Advanced Transport, a newly-formed trucking company.

Brian has been married to his wife, “Ann”, for 13 years and together have two boys, Braden 7, and Drake 4. A fun fact about Brian and his wife, Ann, is that they grew up next door to each other on the Northeast side of Ankeny. They enjoy spending time with their boys, networking, volunteering, and being outdoors.
